The basic ingredients of beer are malted grains, hops, yeast and water. The grain used is usually barley or wheat we use both but mainly barley and we don’t add any sugars or preservatives. It is produced by converting the grain starches to sugar, then using this extracted sugar to ferment into alcohol. By varying the type of yeast used, the roast of malt, the amount of hops added and the temperature of fermentation, a huge range of beer styles can be produced. Below are our six mainstay ales plus look out for seasonal brews throughout the year. Cheers.
The Lord brews six 100% natural ales.
