Local attractions

A stay at The Lord is a real Sydney experience.  Enjoy an Ale in our ground floor Bar then dine in our 1st floor restaurant before heading back to your room on the top level of the Pub.

Sightseeing is a breeze with Circular Quay just a stroll down the hill. From there you can gaze on the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, jump on a ferry to Manly or Taronga Zoo or a bus to Bondi Beach. If you would like to stay closer to home, Barangaroo Reserve is in our backyard or Sydney’s CBD and Darling Harbour are around a 15 minute stroll.

Most activities centre around walking, sight-seeing and eating. The Rocks is Sydney's oldest preserved colonial district so the main emphasis is on the historical importance of the area, however it is also full of fabulous eating and boutique shopping opportunities. The Sydney Visitor Centre, corner Argyle and Playfair Streets, The Rocks (open daily 9.30am to 5.30pm {Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day}) is the best place to start exploring the area.
